I need to be able to fit a string of 14 characters in the Client ID # field and a person's first and last name in the Client Name field. The alignment palette is grayed out even when I select the objects and will not allow me to specify any size or placement options. I've attached a screenshot showing the invoice template I have edited open on the left and the way the final invoice itself looks when I'm ready to invoice that account on the right.
How do I get the custom fields to maintain their size and placement from the template editing process to the saved invoice?
They populate just fine on my invoice, however, they do not show up on the invoice where I want them to be located and will not size according to what I've specified in the invoice template using layout designer. I have added 2 custom fields to my invoice template for a specific customer.
